Overview
I developed three distinct landing page concepts for an aggregated news resource page aimed at small firms. At the time, BIM was a relatively new concept, and the objective was to showcase how Autodesk products could facilitate BIM adoption effectively.
Concept 1: Explore
This design encourages exploration through a dynamic grid layout featuring engaging hover states and playful icons. The site is divided into easily navigable sections, accessible via arrows in the banner or the navigation bar. To maximize visibility, the purchase section is prominently featured across all sections.
Concept 2: Magazine
Inspired by an online magazine format, this concept features a 'cover' displaying three different topics along with a 'Try it for yourself' purchase section. To emulate a magazine experience, the page maintains a fixed size. Unlike the other concepts, articles are displayed directly within this site rather than linking out to external sources.
Concept 3: Discover
This microsite is divided into three primary sections for easy navigation. The focus is more information-driven, with less emphasis on promoting Autodesk products. Therefore the purchasing section is more subtly integrated to maintain the educational tone.
